Let's just skip the introductions and get right down to business.

Hi.
I've had like a million blogs within my life, I really have no idea why I keep creating new ones, but this one I actually want to keep.
So my name is Kate, just in case you didn't already know.
I'm probably going to bore a lot of people with my blogging. But whatever. I'm doing it because I want too.
Recently my boyfriend pointed out how much he loves Jessie J's new song 'Price Tag' so I then took it upon myself to get the whole album and listen to it, and not just judge her by one song. I'm so musically challenged myself, but I love music and I love writing. So I figure that I should just put the two together.
I'm pretty open with my music taste, I'll basically listen to anything. Except Radiohead (I'm sorry David), I just don't get it. Any of it.
Anyway, the album is called 'Who You Are' and there are some pretty decent songs on it; and some pretty crappy poppy ones with bad rhyming as well. There's one song called 'Mamma Knows Best' which I feel shows her voice magnificently. I just wish she did it on every track, and not just that one. It makes me want to watch her perform on broadway. 'Rainbow' is a good track with some meaning behind it. I like it. 'Abracadabra' makes me want to kill myself and Jessie J. She just sounds like a wanna-be Gaga with lame rhyming lyrics. (I do enjoy Gaga, don't get me wrong, but most of her lyrics are pretty awful). The whole album is pretty catchy, with 'Price Tag' probably being my favorite song. I enjoyed it, but it isn't something I'd sit in my cd player to be on repeat. I'm not going to say there's something for everyone, because a death core metal fan just isn't going to enjoy this. I don't do stat ratings, I just give an opinion. A short one at that.

Also babes, check out Y-Fest if you live in the Albury/Wodonga surrounds. Amy Meredith, Phrase, Neon City (which have just released a new album and I'll talk more about later), Radio Shock Therapy, Bloodloss Vegas, Electric Primitives; with dj sets by DJ Minx, DJ Zuckr and Bounce Bros. It's on Saturday 9th April at North Albury Sports Ground. Tickets for sale at Albury Entertainment Centre for $25. So get right amongst it!

Stay beautiful.
